Off-Campus Activities in September

This is a summary report of the activities of our lab members outside the university in September.

Please forgive the timeline of this report, which is back and forth from the previous one.

 
Ms. Salsa, Mr. Azarel, and Prof. Fukuda participated in the Asian Association of Transport Studies (EASTS) held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from September 9 to 11, and presented the following four papers. EASTS is an international conference for comprehensive discussions on transportation issues in Asia, and a group from Tokyo Tech plays a central role in the organization of the conference. It was the 13th conference and about 300 people attended.

Moreover, Prof. Fukuda and Mr. Ogawa (M2) attended a seminar on short-term prediction for the next generation transport management@Kyoto University on September 20, and presented their current work on traffic analysis in Kamakura city using machine learning.
